Eye
Did you know that your eye muscles moves about 100,000 times a day. They even move while you are sleeping. The eye is another part of our body that doesn't get much rest.
About the eye: You spend about ½ hour every day blinking. This amounts to more than 5,000 blinks a day. Why do you blink your eyes? You blink to help your tear glands produce fluid. One job of this fluid is to keep your eyelids from sticking together. Recess wouldn't be much fun today if our eyes were stuck together, would it?
About the eye: Your eyelashes protect your eyes from dust and dirt. Did you know that a camel's eyelashes are more than five times longer than yours? These long lashes protect the camel's eyes during desert sandstorms. I think it would really hurt to get a camel's eyelash in his eye.
