Skin
Do you know what the biggest organ in your body is? It is your skin. An adult's skin weighs 5-8 pounds. If we spread our skin out, it would be about the size of the sheet on your bed. That's a lot, isn't it?
Look at the back of your hand measure out about a one inch square patch. In that area, you have 40 hairs, 12 feet of blood vessels and 17 yards of nerves — WOW! There isn't even a problem with a traffic jam! I think that is pretty cool!
