Please remember to call this number if your child will be absent or has an appointment; even if they will be returning to school.

Absences

Remember to send an Absence Note with your child upon his/her return to school after all absences!  All Absence Notes must be signed by a parent  or guardian (e-mails are not acceptable). 

Early Release Lunch Policy

The cafeteria provides a sack lunch on all early release days.  If you do not want your child to buy lunch, please send a note to your child's teacher stating that your child will NOT be buying lunch that day.  Your child is also welcome to bring their lunch or a "snack" from home on early release days.  All children without a lunch brought from home or a note will be asked to go through the lunch line.

Kindergarten Registration

Mathews PTA hopes you enjoyed Kindergarten Night!  If you weren't able to attend, registration folders are available in the front office. 
Stop by today! Registration will be open on
 Friday, April 8
 from 9 AM to 11 AM and from
1 PM to 3 PM.
 

Lost and Found

Please check the "Maverick Treasure Chest" in the front office for any lost items! All unclaimed items are donated to charity at the end of each month.

Pickup and Drop-off

Use the crosswalk at Caravan and Marchman to enter the main Mathews door. Do not use the circle drive in front of the school for drop off or pick up. Do not park in or use the staff parking lot to drop off or pick up your child; this is a safety hazard in addition to causing the carpool line to be disrupted.
 
Please adhere to the city-posted no-parking signs during designated times - remember, it is the law! Please join the effort to help keep our children safe! Parents, teachers and community members can report traffic violations including speeding and parking violations or make a request for traffic enforcement by calling the Plano Police Department traffic hotline at 972-941-5483.
