2011 Mathews Spirit Event
Come strike up some family fun at the Mathews Elementary 2011 Spirit Event!! Come for a night that will bowl you over with fun for the entire family!

Pony up! Win, Place, Show your support for Mathews PTA
Mathews PTA check writing campaign is off and running. Letters detailing the “Pony up! Win, Place, Show your support for Mathews PTA” campaign came home with all students. We’re asking parents to donate $40 per child to fund PTA programs and plans for this year. Your PTA receives 100% of the profits of this tax deductible donation. Also, check with your company and see if they do corporate matching that could double your donation.
Participation is completely voluntary, but please encourage your child to bring back the letter stating you have read it. Students in grades who all return their letters will get an extra recess. A race track board detailing participation is located in the cafeteria for the kids to see. Let’s see those Mavericks cross the finish line! Pony Up! Check Writing Campaign Success
Thank you to all who participated in the Pony Up! Check Writing Campaign. This campaign’s goals were to raise money and to raise awareness of what Mathews PTA does for your children and Mathews staff. Mathews won big by raising more than $15,000 to support PTA sponsored events and to support the teachers and staff.
4th grade came in 1st, 3rd grade second, and 5th grade third by bringing back the most signed fundraising facts letter and their entire grade level will be rewarded with extra recess time. All students are winners at Mathews!! Thank you for participating and making this campaign a success this year. Please stay tuned to the Maverick Express and this website throughout the year to see how your PTA dollars work to benefit your child. It’s never too late to donate.
